HOPE is at the Heart of Christmas

In the Thanksgiving Season, the time of gathering with family and friends, God brought us together one more time. For some it was opportunity to make new acquaintances and establish new connections. While for others, it was a time for reconciliation in hope of the restoration with loved ones with whom there may have been misunderstanding.

We all long for the times of happiness and peace. The sharing of meals together, whether during the holidays, planned or unplanned, affords us the opportunities to share special moments together. The moments of celebration often bring the spontaneous laughter and joy that quickly become our expressions of love.

As we begin this Advent Season, the church is adorned with the beautiful display of the special season of Christmas. Take note of the unique elements that reflect Christmas from the tree, wreaths, nativity scene and more.

What a special time to invite family, friends and those new acquaintances to fellowship with CBC. It’s the beginning of Advent! It’s the time of anticipation and preparation reminding us of what’s soon to come. Jesus, Our Savior, Christ is born… Born, to die for the sins of us all.

It’s in this thought that the Sunday message reminds us that HOPE Is At The Heart of Christmas“. We wait with great anticipate for the Savior born in a manger to bring us HOPE for our brighter tomorrows and better days.

HOPE to see you in worship and HOPE you will invite or bring someone with you either online or in person.
