Fall Changes

Have you noticed the sudden changes taking place as the falling leaves from the colorful trees remind us that we’re moving briskly into the fall season?

There’s beauty of God’s love reflected right in nature as seasons come and seasons go. The tree that was full of green leaves over a month ago, in just a short period, has changed to a colorful fall array of oranges, browns, reds, and yellows. After a few rain showers and blowing winds, we’re clearing our rooftops, sidewalks and driveways of this rich fertilizer that makes for good compost and rich soil.

In just a couple of weeks of being at CBC, it’s amazing to witness the growth of the little people at Agapè Children’s Center. As they enter the educational wing, the children have unique experiences that are shaping their lives and developing them for the future. What a difference each moment makes as their minds unfold with creativity through interactions between the passionate adult leaders Jayne, Konnie, and often assisted by Karyn.

Maybe God’s about to let us see some beautiful green leaves through their young lives that will be enriched by some rich orange, brown, red and yellow fertilizer of seasoned saints.

The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. James 5:16b NRSV
