Summer days are enjoyable with the National Night Out and the Johnson Back to School events taking place in the same week.
Our CBC congregation is in full action with the CBC volunteers coming forth and being visible in the community. Those CBC t-shirts worn by the volunteers are a great representation of the church and a bright spot at each of the Warrenville events.
This post pandemic season gives us a sense of normalcy and opportunity to engage with others throughout the area. The feeling of being outdoors and reconnecting with our community is an encouragement filled with the possibilities for what is coming.
Special thanks to Rev. Carol Jamieson Brown for the message “Reassess” on last Sunday in keeping with our Summer Sermon Series “Progress in the Process.”
In continuation of our Summer Sermon Series, this Sunday’s message comes from Matthew 14:13-21. What happens when Jesus blesses 2 Fish & 5 Loaves of Bread? There are thousands of people being fed. The sermon on Sunday titled “REIGNITE” will give us some exclusive insights for this season.
Looking forward to seeing each of you on this first Sunday of August, as we press our way to the sanctuary and for those who find it more convenient, online.
