This past Sunday was another joyful opportunity for the CBC family to reconnect with each other and welcome others to CBC church.
The reading the CBC Church Covenant together was a pleasant reminder of our agreement to God and each other as CBC members. In sharing the communion meal together, it was in remembrance of the sacrifice made for us through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are bound together as Christians in love and are united in Comm-Unity.
The Summer Sermon Series “Progress In The Process” will help prepare us for our next season and building on the CBC North Star statement. May our trust in God’s Plan revitalize us with renewal for ourselves and CBC.
We have all learned so much during the pandemic and our resilience to persevere makes us stronger than ever. The summer sermons over the next weeks will include titles i.e., Recreate, Renew, Reassess, Reboot, Reignite, Restore, Reimagine, Recharge, Repurpose, Respond, Reinvest, Re-Engage, Realign will be centered on various biblical stories with corresponding scripture references and the focus “Progress In The Process.”
I look forward to sharing this coming Sunday’s message, “Relationship“ from Zechariah 9:9-12 and Matthew 11:28-30. Come and hear what the Lord doing and is saying to us.
