Our church is on the move forward and there’s excitement in the air with planned activities, ministry meetings and ongoing daily activities.
The joys of seeing the Agape Preschool in action provide vibrancy and hope for the future. This week I flew on the Agape Airlines to beautiful Hawaii islands. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the Agape welcoming committee wearing their sunshades, along with leis and the beautiful greeting of “Aloha.” It was wonderful to put on my bathing suit and go surfing in the ocean. The beautiful sunrise and sunsets were inspiring as was the whale watching too.
This was a perfect trip from the frigid temperatures that were bitter cold in Warrenville this week

Well, I’ll be back from my brief five-minute make-believe trip to the Hawaiian Islands with the Agape Preschool in time for our Sunday morning worship
.
This Sunday begins Black History month and presentations from various CBC members in honor of Black History Month. We will also have our first Sunday Communion as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper with one another.
The sermon series “Win The Day” will continue with the message “Wind The Clock” from Ephesians 5:15-20 and 2 Peter 3:8. See you Sunday, as we hear what God is saying to us in this season.
