Dresses for Dominican Republic – Fellowship Hall. Our group Sew-In is postponed until we can all gather safely. Meanwhile, we have dress kits you can sew at home. Contact the church office to request kits and we’ll make arrangements to get them to you. This is our 8th annual sew-in to make simple, but lovely little dresses. This year we’re changing things up a little and sending them to the Dominican Republic. Our goal this year is 100+ dresses! Did you know that a girl who is neatly dressed is less likely to be victimized? You can help make a difference! Lots of volunteers jobs, even if you don’t sew. You can also provide or help serve snacks for volunteers. Monetary donations for supplies and shipping are also appreciated. We even have dress kits which you can take home to complete dresses before April 25th. Everything you need to complete a dress is included. You just provide your time and sewing skills.
