The beginning of Spring seems to become more visible during the Resurrection Sunday celebration and the beginning of April. As the ground begins to bring forth the perennials, they peek through the remnants of the remaining signs of winter upon the grass. There are the lilies that are another reminder of the springtime. The longer days are becoming the norm with longer periods of daylight.
During Spring Break, the joy of children playing and experiencing the outdoors was just a glimpse of what is to come. We experience the joy of God’s creation and begin to cultivate the soil in our neighborhoods as we connect with others who are preparing and planting.
Our church has been in its preparation for the future and has been getting ready for what is to come. Just seeing the calendar for this year is a great sign of the church in this new season. This past Sunday’s Resurrection Service highlighted CBC in the post pandemic era with many families and visitors in attendance.
The Second Sunday of Easter on this coming Sunday will include Communion and the music ministry led by Andrei Liquer. The sermon is titled “Visible Signs” coming from John 20:19-31 and is a continuation from last week’s message.
Looking forward to seeing each of you in person and online.
