The beautiful colors of the leaves as they fall from the trees is one of the signs of the changing season. After every blowing wind and rainfall, there are more leaves on the ground than on the trees.
The changing of the season is part of the life cycle for nature and each season yields its own beauty. While this autumn season gives us less sunlight and the soil may take a rest, it is an opportunity to put fall bulbs in the ground and fertilizer on the grass. After all, we are preparing for the spring flowers and the rich lush, green grass.
That’s amazing… As one season ends, we are in essence preparing for future seasons.
The Agapè Sunday for the fall season will take place on this coming Sunday and I am looking forward to seeing the children with their families. The children are being prepared for the future with the tender nurturing care of their parents and grandparents, along with the Agapè teachers.
Let us all stay tuned… there will be another Agapè Sunday in the spring, and we will see the fruit of the labor from this season. We will joyful see what the Lord has done!!
Our message this Sunday will be geared towards the children and titled, “God Has Made Everything Beautiful… In Its Time.” This will build on this year’s World Missions theme and Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
During our fellowship after the service, we look forward to meeting the families of the children we have been assigned to pray for throughout the school year.
See you on Sunday morning!
